Software marketplace, G2 hired Sydney Sloan as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Sydney was earlier named among the Top 100 Female B2B SaaS Pipeline Pioneers by SalesIntel.
G2 announced Sydney Sloan as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Sydney is an exceptional marketing leader in the B2B SaaS industry. She has been part of the growth marketing teams for various pre-IPO and post-IPO companies.
Before joining G2 as the CMO, Sydney headed the marketing function for the cloud compliance automation platform Drata. Earlier, she was the CMO of sales technology company – Saleloft. In her marketing career, she has been part of high-growth companies such as Adobe, Jive Software, and Alfresco.
At the time of this announcement, G2’s CEO and co-founder Godard Abel highlighted the importance of tapping into a full-time CMO to grow in the competitive AI software marketplace.
