Antenna Group Starts UK Operations Expanding Global Presence

The inauguration of its London office is the first in a planned sequence of expansions around Europe, according to Antenna Group, a worldwide marketing and strategic communications agency, which also announced today the debut of its UK Operations. In several of the agency’s major ecosystems, including climate technology, mobility and transportation, health and the built environment, and real estate, the office will expand the agency’s service offering and provide localized coverage.

Antenna will open its first worldwide office in London, a crucial step in the organization’s attempts to have a significant impact on the world in the Age of Adoption. London was chosen because of its leadership in transformational technology, closeness to pioneers in climate tech journalism, and reputation as a green financial hub. Furthermore, as the largest climate-focused communications company in North America, Antenna’s long-established ideals are perfectly aligned with London’s objective to achieve Net Zero by 2030.

The office will offer strategic advice to current clients from around the world investing in the UK and European markets, as well as hands-on support for well-established organizations with a presence in those regions.

According to Keith Zakheim, CEO of Antenna, “The challenges that Antenna’s clients face are global, and they require strategic partners that can help scale their business across multiple continents. A natural extension of the work Antenna and its customers are doing to further accelerate the Age of Adoption globally is the opening of our UK office, which was the obvious next step after many successful projects in the area.”

The entry into the UK market occurs at a critical juncture as the British government prioritizes policies to boost climate technology investment for startups at pre-seed and growth stages in an effort to compete with the Biden Administration’s Inflation Reduction Act and the EU’s Green Deal Industrial Plan. Since its initial ambition of becoming carbon neutral by 2050, London has set aggressive goals to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

In the same vein as the UK, Zakheim stated, “Our clients are leading the Age of Adoption, quickly decarbonizing the global economy and rebuilding a civilization that is sustainable and future-proof. Because of our larger footprint, Antenna is now better equipped to collaborate with businesses situated in Europe and the UK that support equity, sustainability, and innovation through technology.”

With plans to hire new staff and expand operations in the UK and throughout Europe in 2023 and 2024, the office will be run by Reed Haeckel, Senior Director of Growth, Europe, and Emily Taylor, Senior Director of Strategy and Research. They will work with a larger network of public relations, public affairs, marketing, and creative consultants.

An Overview:
  • The agency’s first international growth will take place in London.
  • The office will assist Antenna Group’s expanding clientele in the UK and Europe as well as international companies seeking to enter those regions.
  • Antenna Group will continue to tell stories about climate change and the built environment that are significant on a global scale and to support Age of Adoption leaders.
