Glass-Media and Digi Point Unveil Transparent LED Retail Posters

Glass-Media has introduced a new transparent LED poster that aims to transform the way retailers communicate with customers through their storefronts. The innovative product was developed alongside Digi Point Media, the owner of the IceBox Network and a company known for its customer-centric digital platforms. Together, the partners are presenting a fresh alternative to the traditional static posters and neon signage that have long dominated retail display marketing.

The newly launched transparent LED poster is designed with practicality in mind. It weighs just 13 pounds and can be installed directly on commercial windows in about half an hour, which allows retailers to adopt digital signage without having to rearrange store layouts or invest in complex infrastructure. The device maintains approximately 85 percent transparency when viewed from inside the store, enabling staff and shoppers to retain outward visibility while simultaneously projecting bright, dynamic visuals toward foot traffic outside. This marks a sharp contrast to bulky LCD window displays that often weigh more than 80 pounds and obstruct the view from within.

The product also tackles a major sustainability issue in the retail sector. Large chains produce enormous amounts of disposable window posters and clings every year, only for them to be thrown away after short promotional cycles. With a potential lifespan of ten years or longer, this digital solution reduces waste while also minimizing the operational headaches associated with frequent print campaign swaps. Retailers can remotely schedule and update content as needed, supporting greater accuracy and reducing the risk of compliance concerns for franchise operators who must maintain brand standards. The streamlined approach can save many hours of labor that would otherwise be spent applying new materials to storefront windows.
