HubSpot has launched its first CRM connector for Anthropic’s Claude AI system, aiming to give businesses deeper, real-time insights from customer data. The integration, announced on July 29, 2025, allows teams across marketing, sales, support, and customer success to bring their unique HubSpot context directly into Claude. This means users can now interact with their CRM data through natural language queries, create instant visualizations such as charts or graphs, and swiftly turn insights into action all within the HubSpot platform.
HubSpot says this connector is designed to make AI not only more accessible but also more practical for everyday business use. Karen Ng, HubSpot’s Executive Vice President and Head of Product, emphasized that connecting Claude with real business data is a powerful way to derive actionable insights and nurture trust in AI-generated responses. According to Ng, this move advances HubSpot’s vision of making advanced AI technology accessible to all businesses, not just those with extensive technical resources.

In practice, the new connector allows, for example, marketing teams to discover which contacts opened an email campaign without clicking through, then generate pie charts for follow-up segmentation. Sales professionals can get organized summaries of active deals sorted by critical details like deal name, value, stage, and anticipated close date to help prioritize tasks each week. Support representatives are empowered to retrieve lists of their open tickets, sorted by urgency and creation date, while customer success teams can analyze and compare how support issues are resolved across various channels, ultimately improving consistency and quality of service.

What further distinguishes this HubSpot-Claide integration is its approach to data privacy and access control. The system adheres strictly to the existing permissions set in HubSpot, so users only have access to CRM information they are authorized to see. For instance, a sales rep can view pipeline data exclusively for the deals they’re permitted to access. Additionally, Anthropic’s Claude does not use customer data from HubSpot for training its models unless users explicitly opt in or offer specific feedback, providing a measure of control and transparency for organizational data management.
The CRM connector is now available to all HubSpot customers, regardless of their subscription tier, as long as they also have a paid Claude plan (including Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise). This rollout is part of a broader initiative by HubSpot to offer more AI connectors, ensuring that organizations can leverage the power of large language models with the confidence that their business context and data security are respected.
