The report highlights the company’s ongoing dedication to impactful climate action and fostering stronger communities worldwide.

Rod McLeod, Braze’s Vice President of Social Impact, emphasized the importance of collaboration among the company’s employees, customers, and communities in achieving meaningful social and environmental progress. He expressed pride in the strides made so far and anticipation for continued work with global partners to build a more equitable and sustainable future.

On the environmental front, Braze reinforced its commitment to science-backed climate goals with near-term emissions reduction targets officially approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). The company also advanced its climate strategy by entering a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) that supports five new solar energy projects in Michigan. These solar facilities are projected to generate 1,600 megawatt-hours of renewable energy annually and are estimated to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 3,800 metric tons over five years.

In terms of social impact, Braze has invested over $2.9 million in communities since 2022 through grants distributed to more than 150 nonprofit organizations worldwide. These funds are managed via the Braze for Social Impact Fund at the Tides Foundation, with an impressive 86% of grant decisions in fiscal year 2025 being guided by Braze employees themselves. Expanding its influence further, Braze launched initiatives such as the Tech for an Equitable Future product grant program and introduced Charitable-Giving Canvas Templates  customizable campaign flows designed to help brands efficiently run donation drives. A notable partnership under this program included working with BET+, a Braze customer, to provide founders with specialized mentorship, marketing advice, and brand development support.

These certifications reflect Braze’s steadfast commitment to privacy, security, and adherence to regulatory standards. Alongside these efforts, the company upheld its Vendor Code of Conduct, which ensures ethical sourcing and accountability throughout its supply chain.

Overall, Braze’s 2025 ESG report demonstrates the company’s comprehensive approach to sustainable development, social responsibility, and corporate governance advancing their mission to create meaningful, lasting impact on both the environment and communities they serve.
