G2 and Reddit have joined forces in a new collaboration designed to help B2B software companies strengthen their visibility and credibility in the places where buyers are increasingly gathering and making purchase decisions. The partnership arrives at a time when artificial intelligence is reshaping how people search for technology solutions. A recent G2 survey found that nearly nine out of ten B2B software buyers say AI driven search tools have influenced the way they gather information, while half of those surveyed now begin their product research on platforms like ChatGPT more frequently than on Google.
As more research behavior shifts to AI powered platforms, user generated content has become even more influential. Conversations, personal stories, and real customer opinions are now being surfaced early in a buyer’s journey, well before they ever visit a vendor’s official site. This shift has encouraged G2 to expand the ways businesses can appear in trusted digital spaces. The company has announced that B2B software vendors with profiles on G2 will soon be able to extend their presence directly into Reddit, one of the largest global online communities.

Reddit brings more than one hundred thousand active communities and well over one hundred million daily users who turn to the platform to share advice, compare experiences, and seek insights from real people. G2 believes this makes Reddit a critical destination for brands that want to participate in the discussions shaping software buying decisions. The partnership addresses common challenges faced by marketers, such as the time it takes to establish a consistent presence across different platforms and the difficulty of managing brand conversations scattered throughout the internet. It also brings a new way for companies to connect with potential customers through both community participation and advertising.
Through this partnership, Reddit will use verified data from G2 profiles to create and pre populate branded Reddit Pro accounts for select G2 customers. This gives businesses immediate access to features that help them monitor relevant conversations, track topics and trends, and evaluate how their engagement performs over time. Once set up, companies can join discussions, provide helpful information to Reddit users, and build credibility through authentic interaction.

Rob Gaige, Global Head of Insights at Reddit, explained what this means for the companies engaging buyers on the platform. “In the age of AI search, trust and authenticity are of the highest importance. This partnership empowers B2B software brands to expand the trust that they have earned on G2 into new communities on Reddit, where buying decisions are being shaped. By empowering businesses with an easy way to convert their verified G2 data into a Reddit Pro account, we are giving them a credible foothold to join real conversations, help their customers, and ensure their brand’s authenticity shows through clearly to potential buyers on Reddit.”
G2 customers will receive email invitations to activate their accounts, and those who want to participate sooner can join a waitlist for the pilot. The companies say this initiative is just the beginning of their efforts to support software brands as research habits continue to evolve. They believe that by connecting trusted product information with authentic community engagement, buyers will be able to make smarter decisions more confidently and more quickly.
