Statusphere Raises $18 Million Series A To Scale Influencer Marketing for Brands

Influencer marketing is increasingly intersecting with AI driven discovery, and platforms that can deliver trust and scale are gaining traction among enterprise brands. Statusphere has announced an $18 million Series A funding round to expand its AI powered platform, positioning influencer marketing as a repeatable and reliable growth channel for retailers and consumer brands navigating social and AI led discovery.

Statusphere said the Series A funding brings its total capital raised to $27 million. The round was led by Volition Capital, with participation from HearstLab, 1984 Ventures, and How Women Invest. The new investment will support product expansion across social SEO, generative engine optimization, and reporting, as well as the development of next generation tools for creators.

Statusphere focuses on helping large brands activate micro influencers at scale while maintaining authenticity, brand safety, and compliance. Enterprise customers including Parlux, Kendo Brands, Express, and LG H&H use the platform to launch creator programs in under an hour, relying on AI to automate content review, compliance checks, and performance measurement. The approach is designed to address long standing challenges in influencer marketing, where manual processes and inconsistent quality have limited scalability.

“Human generated content is quickly becoming the most valuable driver of brand discovery, but influencer marketing solutions weren’t built to scale for the enterprise,” said Kristen Wiley, CEO and founder of Statusphere. “After years of testing different platforms, I built Statusphere to solve that challenge by giving brands a smarter, more automated way to activate creators at scale without sacrificing authenticity. As discovery moves toward AI driven and agentic search, Statusphere is built for this moment. Our Series A positions us to accelerate what’s next.”

The platform enables brands to manage complex creator programs by automating workflows that were traditionally time consuming and resource intensive. These include creator sourcing and vetting, product fulfillment, compliance oversight, rights management, and detailed performance reporting. By centralizing these functions, Statusphere aims to help brands run influencer programs with the same rigor and measurability as other core marketing channels.

Investors see the company as infrastructure for a changing discovery landscape. “Volition invests in companies that are not just leading emerging categories, but defining them with data and proven automation,” said Larry Cheng, Managing Partner and Co founder at Volition Capital. “Statusphere is creating infrastructure that addresses a fundamental shift in how consumers discover and trust brands. With a depth of insight that’s hard to replicate, this platform compounds in value as it scales.”

Momentum has accelerated over the past year. Statusphere reported powering more than 50,000 creator collaborations, generating over half a billion engagements and video views. That scale has helped enterprise brands drive measurable impact across social SEO, in store retail, and e commerce, reinforcing the role of creator content in omnichannel performance.

With Statusphere Series A funding now secured, the company plans to deepen its AI capabilities and align influencer programs more closely with AI powered search and discovery. As brands seek scalable ways to earn trust and visibility in crowded digital environments, Statusphere is positioning influencer marketing as a core, data driven growth engine rather than an experimental tactic.
