In a move that significantly enhances its presence in the Carolinas, Adams Outdoor Advertising has completed a strategic purchase of key billboard assets from The Sign Shoppe. The company announced that the acquisition adds a substantial number of new advertising locations to its real estate portfolio, reinforcing its status as a top-tier provider of out-of-home media in the strategically important southeastern market.

The transaction involves 35 static billboard structures situated in the coastal region of Brunswick County, North Carolina. This expansion provides Adams with increased coverage eastward towards the Atlantic, a region known for its vibrant local economy and heavy tourist traffic. It was clarified that this transaction is limited to the billboard assets, and The Sign Shoppe will maintain operations of its other business segments, which were not included in the deal.
