As software development accelerates with AI coding tools, Amplitude is introducing agent driven analytics designed to help companies understand user behavior faster and make smarter product decisions in real time.
Amplitude Inc. announced the launch of its agentic AI analytics platform, introducing a new suite of artificial intelligence agents that continuously analyze product usage, identify performance trends, and recommend next steps automatically. The Amplitude agentic AI analytics launch aims to close the widening gap between rapid software deployment and the ability to understand what features actually deliver value for users.
The announcement comes as AI coding assistants from companies such as Anthropic and OpenAI have significantly reduced the time required to build and release software. While development cycles have accelerated, many organizations struggle to interpret behavioral data quickly enough to guide product strategy. Amplitude’s new approach positions AI as an always on analytics layer that monitors performance continuously rather than relying on manual analysis.
“We’re entering a new era of analytics one where AI can monitor your product around the clock, and free up your team to focus on improving the experience,” said Spenser Skates, co-founder and CEO at Amplitude. “ we’re launching the first fully autonomous analytics agent. It’s going to reinvent how product decisions get made.”
At the center of the release is a Global Agent capable of answering complex questions using natural language while automatically building dashboards, analyzing funnels, identifying root causes, and recommending actions. The system can also execute tasks directly within the platform, allowing teams to move from insight to execution more quickly.
Amplitude also introduced four specialized agents focused on operational bottlenecks commonly faced by product teams. These agents monitor dashboards for meaningful metric changes, review user session recordings to identify friction, design and analyze web experiments, and transform unstructured feedback into actionable insights mapped to real behavioral data.
Unlike general purpose AI tools that query data warehouses, Amplitude’s agents operate within a behavioral analytics system designed to understand product context, enabling more accurate and actionable recommendations. The platform also integrates insights directly into widely used development and collaboration environments including GitHub, Notion, Figma, and AI assistants, allowing teams to access analytics within existing workflows.
Early adopters report measurable gains from the new capabilities. “Amplitude has helped NTT DOCOMO scale self-serve analytics to more than 1,000 active users and significantly reduce the time required to analyze campaign effectiveness,” said Takashi Suzuki, SVP and GM of the Data Platform Department at NTT DOCOMO. “With Amplitude AI Agents, our teams can streamline analysis directly from existing dashboards, helping us move faster while improving conversion rates and lowering cost per acquisition.”
“Increasing our users required more than just access to data. It required structure and automation,” said Matias Caratti, Product Shipping Supervisor, Mercado Libre. “Dashboards provided a single source of truth, and AI Agents enabled us to find data on our own.”
The Amplitude agentic AI analytics launch reflects a broader shift toward autonomous analytics systems that combine monitoring, insight generation, and execution. As organizations adopt AI powered development workflows, analytics platforms capable of delivering continuous intelligence are becoming essential to shaping the next generation of product experiences.
