Cordial has introduced a new approach to enterprise marketing automation by embedding artificial intelligence directly into execution, not just planning and analysis. The update matters to the MarTech ecosystem as brands struggle to translate growing volumes of customer data into timely, trusted actions across live campaigns. With its latest release, Cordial is positioning AI as an active participant in marketing operations rather than a passive assistant.
The company announced two new AI agents as part of Cordial Agents, a system designed to automate real marketing work inside the Cordial platform. Instead of deploying dozens of narrow assistants, Cordial is focusing on fewer, deeper agents that remove manual effort across core marketing functions. The goal is to give marketers real agency by grounding, governing, executing, and coordinating work directly within production environments.
Cordial’s announcement is rooted in a widening industry gap between insight and action. According to the company’s recent research, all marketers still rely on behavioral signals such as clicks and opens to infer intent. Nearly two thirds say insights are primarily used during campaign planning rather than during live execution. At the same time, only a third of consumers feel brands truly understand their needs, while many marketers report losing customer trust when intent is misread.

As artificial intelligence reduces the time between signal and action, this disconnect becomes more visible. Cordial argues that anticipating and acting on customer intent in real time is no longer optional for enterprise teams.
“Most AI tools stop at suggestions,” said Matt Howland, Chief Product Officer at Cordial. “We built Cordial Agents to do the work itself. They operate inside real marketing systems, with real data, rules, and guardrails, so teams can move from insight to action without adding manual steps, redundancies, or miscues.”
Unlike traditional AI assistants that generate drafts or ideas, Cordial Agents are designed as production systems. They work end to end inside live workflows, ensuring outputs are executable, measurable, and safe to run at scale. The Email Production Agent automates execution heavy email tasks including personalization, audience logic, message orchestration, and measurement. Emails are built using production grade tools and validated against real customer profiles before launch.

The Data Intelligence Agent operates in parallel, monitoring campaign and audience performance as it unfolds. It detects emerging trends, flags issues early, and recommends next actions while campaigns are still live, enabling teams to adjust before performance declines.
Both agents operate within Cordial’s governed agent framework, which enforces quality checks, controlled retries, and brand and campaign standards. Agents continuously validate and correct outputs, improving results without introducing operational risk. They also collaborate through shared context, while human teams can contribute briefs and inputs to guide execution.
With Cordial Agents, the company is advancing a clear vision for AI in marketing. By embedding intelligence into execution, Cordial is moving AI beyond the workflow and into the work itself, helping enterprise teams act faster, reduce manual effort, and deliver more relevant experiences with confidence.
