DoubleVerify Unveils Evolution of Its Commercial Leadership Team

DoubleVerify (“DV”), a leading platform for verifying media quality, optimizing ad performance, and proving campaign outcomes, announced a key evolution within its senior commercial leadership team alongside an expansion of its leadership ranks. Julie Eddleman, the current Global Chief Commercial Officer, has revealed her intention to retire and will step down from her executive role at the end of 2025. However, she will continue to serve as a Senior Advisor to DoubleVerify through 2026.

Taking over her role as Global Chief Commercial Officer on January 1, 2026, will be Steve Mougis, who presently serves as DV’s Chief Growth Officer. Mougis has been a part of the company’s commercial leadership team since 2012 and will oversee DV’s commercial groups spanning sales, account management, and commercial operations.

Mark Zagorski, DoubleVerify’s CEO, expressed gratitude for Julie Eddleman’s significant contributions over the past five years and confidence that her continued advisory role will help maintain the company’s momentum. He acknowledged her efforts in building an industry-leading commercial team and structure while also noting her new opportunity to focus on personal passions such as women’s sports and family.

In her departure statement, Eddleman reflected on a fulfilling tenure with DV, noting the company’s growth and stronghold in expanding industry areas like social, CTV, and AI-driven dynamic optimization. She expressed excitement for Mougis stepping into the Chief Commercial Officer role and for the planned strategic organizational changes. Eddleman also highlighted her commitment to supporting DV as a Senior Advisor, anticipating ongoing innovation and expansion to maximize digital advertising impact globally.

Additional leadership changes include Gian LaVecchia becoming Chief Revenue Officer, reporting to Mougis, where he will lead the global sales organization. Moreover, Joris Stevens joins as SVP of Global Account Management, also reporting to Mougis. Stevens, a DV veteran who previously led client operations from 2014 to 2021 and recently worked as Global Head of Customer Success at Scope3, will lead DV’s global account management team.
