Sentra Participates in ISV Accelerate on AWS

Sentra Joins AWS ISV Accelerate Program

A cloud data security startup has announced a strategic alliance to improve cloud data security and advance its global go-to-market plan.

At the RSA Conference, Sentra, a provider of cloud data security services, announced that it had been accepted into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Programme, a co-selling scheme for AWS Partners who offer software products that use or integrate with AWS. By establishing a connection between the participating ISVs and the AWS Sales team, the programme aids partners in generating new business and accelerating sales cycles.

In order to eliminate shadow data, lower data storage costs, and prevent compliance violations, this partnership will benefit joint customers by providing them with complete visibility and knowledge of the sensitivity of every datastore and data asset across their AWS cloud environment.

Nitai Sarma, Director of Information Security at Papaya Global, stated that “at Papaya Global, our customers’ most sensitive information is at the heart of everything we do, making cloud data security an essential aspect of our business.” “As an AWS and Sentra customer, this partnership makes perfect sense because it capitalises on the core competencies of both organisations to provide efficient and secure managed and unmanaged services and tools.”

This strategic alliance comes at a time when cloud platform fragmentation is posing a significant challenge to organisations, making it challenging for security teams to maintain data visibility and conduct precise risk assessments. With their combined efforts, Sentra and AWS will offer their shared customers a fresh, data-centric method for securely securing constantly shifting, fragmented data in the cloud.

Sentra’s acceptance into the AWS ISV Accelerate Programme enables the business to work with the AWS Sales team to meet customer needs. Sentra is able to deliver better results to AWS customers thanks to close cooperation with the AWS Sales team thanks to the efforts of AWS ISV Accelerate Partners.

Sentra has received certifications for Relational Database Service (RDS) Ready, Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR), and Foundational Technical Review (FTR). On the AWS marketplace, the solution is now for sale.

Sentra raised $30M in Series A funding in January 2023 to meet the demand for data security in the cloud. Sentra was founded and is managed by seasoned business owners and veterans of the Israel Defence Forces’ Unit 8200. Shaun Marion, vice president and McDonald’s CISO, was also added to the company’s advisory board, according to the announcement.

According to Yoav Regev, co-founder and CEO of Sentra, “In the last decade, securing data in the cloud has quickly become an urgent priority for organisations, but enterprises are still challenged to get it right.” Security should promote business expansion, not impede it. We will support businesses in regaining control of their data and using it to improve productivity, teamwork, and commercial success by partnering with AWS.
