Nexxen, VIDAA Renew and Expand Partnership To Grow North American CTV Footprint

Nexxen International Ltd., a global advertising technology company specializing in data and advanced TV solutions, has renewed and broadened its strategic alliance with VIDAA, the fast‑growing Connected TV platform that powers millions of Hisense, Toshiba, and other leading smart TVs worldwide.

The expanded agreement extends Nexxen’s exclusive global rights to VIDAA’s automatic content recognition (ACR) data and provides Nexxen with sole authority to monetize CTV and native display advertising on VIDAA media in North America through at least the end of 2029. This deal will provide Nexxen’s clients with access to premium inventory not available on competing platforms, creating new opportunities for retail and direct-to-consumer advertisers. Benefits from the updated contract are expected to start in 2026.

Since the two companies first teamed up in 2022, VIDAA has cemented a strong presence in multiple international markets   spanning Europe, after a key deal with electronics group Vestel, and Australia   while Nexxen has developed systems to integrate VIDAA’s ACR data into its proprietary Nexxen Data Platform. This has enabled advanced audience targeting, insight delivery, and measurement capabilities across key regions including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and Germany. With the groundwork now in place, both partners are shifting focus from building infrastructure to scaling commercial impact.

In support of the expanded vision, Nexxen will invest an additional $35 million in VIDAA, raising its total stake to $60 million   about 6% of VIDAA’s outstanding shares. The funding will help fuel VIDAA’s retail partnerships and strengthen its entry into the lucrative U.S. advertising market, while also increasing the scale of ACR data, available ad inventory, and user engagement for Nexxen’s platform.
