The partnership will prioritize co-innovation by creating industry-specific applications that leverage NTT DATA’s proven frameworks alongside Google Cloud’s infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability. Both companies are making significant joint go-to-market investments to encourage widespread adoption in strategic markets.

Industry analysts project that global end-user spending on public cloud services will reach $723 billion in 2025, up from $595.7 billion in 2024, underscoring the urgency for enterprises to modernize infrastructure and embrace AI.
Marv Mouchawar, NTT DATA’s Global Head of Innovation, described the venture as a milestone in advancing industry-wide digital transformation, while Google Cloud’s Global Partner Ecosystem President, Kevin Ichhpurani, emphasized its potential to deploy “agentic AI” to optimize processes and address complex sector challenges.
The collaboration will span multiple verticals such as banking, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, public services, and life sciences developing tailored AI models and cloud solutions. In financial services, for example, NTT DATA’s Regla platform will use Google Cloud’s scalable AI infrastructure to enhance regulatory compliance and reporting. In hospitality, its Virtual Travel Concierge, powered by Google’s Gemini models, will deliver multilingual, personalized customer support for millions of monthly interactions.

Strategic initiatives include industry-specific AI agents developed with Google Agentspace, cloud modernization via Google Distributed Cloud, and advanced application and security modernization capabilities such as mainframe transformation, DevOps integration, and SAP migration. Sovereign cloud deployments, including both air-gapped and connected environments, will address stringent data sovereignty and compliance needs.
To accelerate innovation, the companies are launching a Google Distributed Cloud sandbox for rapid prototyping and training. NTT DATA’s Takumi GenAI framework will play a central role, guiding clients from concept to scaled deployment while integrating seamlessly with Google Cloud’s AI stack.
A dedicated global Google Cloud Business Group comprising thousands of engineers, architects, and consultants will drive delivery. NTT DATA also plans to certify 5,000 engineers in Google Cloud technologies. The partnership builds on previous regional agreements and acquisitions, notably Niveus Solutions, which has earned multiple Google Cloud awards.
Early results include migrating over 380 workloads for Carrefour, enabling the retail giant to consolidate 100 legacy systems, enhance agility during high-demand periods, and speed the rollout of new services.
