Ogury Names Nicolas Bidon Chief Executive Officer to Lead Global Growth

Ogury is entering a pivotal new chapter in persona based digital advertising with the appointment of Nicolas Bidon as its new Chief Executive Officer, a move that underscores the company’s ambition to scale its global footprint and accelerate platform innovation. Effective December 1, the leadership transition comes at a time when the industry is navigating rapid change and heightened demand for privacy safe, data driven advertising strategies. The appointment places a strong emphasis on executive experience, making the role of Chief Executive Officer especially critical as Ogury advances its vision for cross channel advertising solutions.

Bidon brings more than twenty years of international adtech leadership to the company. His most recent position as Global CEO of GroupM Nexus, part of WPP, placed him at the helm of a network of more than eleven thousand digital experts. His tenure with WPP began in 2012 as Managing Director of Xaxis UK, followed by leadership roles including Global CEO of plista and later Global CEO of Xaxis. During this period, he oversaw the organization’s evolution into an outcome focused media company powered by proprietary AI technology, driving expansion across forty seven markets. Prior to his WPP career, he held senior roles at Yahoo as well as enterprise software companies such as Microstrategy and Watchfire, the latter acquired by IBM. His track record reflects a consistent focus on data driven execution, innovation, and operational scale.

In his first public statement on the appointment, Bidon emphasized the urgency of transformation within the advertising landscape. “With major disruptions everywhere you look, the advertising ecosystem stands at a crossroads and is poised for reinvention,” he said. “Ogury’s unique blend of data, powerful technology, and innovative culture position it perfectly to turn this complexity into a competitive advantage for its clients. Bidon will oversee strategy, growth, business development, and operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. Based in London, he succeeds Geoffroy Martin, who has served as Chief Executive Officer since January 2023.
