PolyAI Appoints Ryan Longfield as President To Scale Enterprise AI Adoption

As enterprises accelerate the move from experimentation to production with agentic AI, leadership scale has become a critical differentiator in the MarTech and customer experience landscape. Against this backdrop, PolyAI appoints Ryan Longfield as President of Go-to-Market, signaling a decisive push to expand global enterprise adoption of its agentic AI platform.

PolyAI, a leader in enterprise-grade agentic AI for customer experience, announced that Longfield will take on the newly created role as the company continues its rapid growth trajectory. The appointment follows PolyAI’s recent Series D funding round, which brought total capital raised to more than $200 million and capped a year of strong momentum driven by large-scale enterprise deployments.

PolyAI’s agentic AI systems are already operating in high-stakes environments where reliability and autonomy are essential. The company supports customer interactions across industries such as healthcare logistics, emergency response, retail, and hospitality. In several deployments, PolyAI’s AI agents now perform work equivalent to more than 1,000 full-time employees, highlighting how agentic AI is moving beyond automation into mission-critical operations.

In his new role, Longfield will oversee PolyAI’s entire go-to-market engine, spanning sales, marketing, revenue operations, customer success, partnerships, and strategic alliances. His mandate reflects the company’s shift from early adoption to broad enterprise scale.

“PolyAI is one of the rare AI companies already delivering real, measurable outcomes at enterprise scale,” said Longfield. “The technology is proven, customers are seeing material ROI, and the team has built something truly differentiated. I’m excited to help scale a business that enterprises already trust with their most critical conversations.”

Prior to Shopify, he was Chief Revenue Officer at Gong, playing a central role in growing the company from $5 million to hundreds of millions in recurring revenue while establishing Revenue Intelligence as a core enterprise category. Earlier in his career, Longfield held senior sales leadership roles at LinkedIn during its rapid growth phase leading up to its IPO and subsequent acquisition by Microsoft.

PolyAI’s leadership sees the appointment as a strategic inflection point as enterprises increasingly seek trusted partners for deploying autonomous AI at scale.

“Enterprises are no longer asking whether agentic AI is necessary; they’re deciding who they trust to run it,” said Nikola Mrkšić, CEO and co-founder of PolyAI. “Ryan has consistently built world-class go-to-market engines at companies with products that change the game for their customers, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the leadership team as we scale our impact globally.”

With PolyAI appointing Ryan Longfield to lead go-to-market strategy, the company is positioning itself to meet growing enterprise demand for production-ready agentic AI. As organizations prioritize ROI, resilience, and trust in autonomous systems, PolyAI’s expanded leadership underscores its ambition to become a foundational platform for AI-driven customer experience at global scale.
