Rokt Expands Executive Team To Drive AI Innovation

Rokt, a global leader in ecommerce technology powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence, has strengthened its executive team with two major leadership moves aimed at accelerating product innovation and enhancing the growth of Rokt Ads. The company announced the appointment of Reuben Kan as Chief Research Officer, a new position created to advance Rokt’s long term investment in AI breakthroughs and scalable systems. Kan will remain under the leadership of Chief AI Officer Claire Southey. Rokt has also elevated Jon Humphrey to Senior Vice President of Operations and Advertising, expanding his responsibilities to include full oversight of Rokt Ads, while he continues to lead Operations, Solutions, Launch, and Partnerships across the organization. Humphrey will now report directly to CEO Bruce Buchanan and join Rokt’s executive committee.

As Chief Research Officer, Kan will be charged with driving Rokt’s future innovation strategy, advancing its capabilities in optimization, applied data science, and large scale engineering infrastructure. He will guide deeper research collaborations with academic partners and help solidify Rokt’s leadership in the intersection of AI and ecommerce technology. Kan previously served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at the company and brings more than a decade of experience from Google, where he worked in high level engineering roles. He earned a Master of Information Technology Engineering from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Mechatronics and Computer Science Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
