LG Ad Solutions Expands to Australia, Names Alex Blundell Jones as Commercial Director

LG Ad Solutions, a global leader in Connected TV (CTV) advertising, has officially launched operations in Australia, marking a key milestone in its international expansion. The company has appointed Alex Blundell Jones as Commercial Director for Australia, with a mandate to spearhead regional strategy and growth from Sydney.

Blundell Jones brings nearly 15 years of experience in the media and ad tech space, including a founding role at Captify in the UK, where he contributed to the company’s successful exit. He joined LG Ad Solutions during its UK launch and will now lead its push into one of the world’s most advanced video advertising markets. He will report to Ed Wale, VP of International at LG Ad Solutions.

Part of LG Electronics, LG Ad Solutions leverages proprietary Smart TV data and native CTV ad formats to deliver high-impact, performance-driven campaigns across millions of LG TVs. The platform enables brands to engage audiences throughout the entire viewing journey offering a blend of video, interactive, and native formats powered by first-party, deterministic viewing data.
