Titan Operating System S.L. has closed a €50 million Series A funding round to accelerate its mission of building Europe’s leading independent Connected TV OS and reshaping how audiences discover streaming content and how advertisers reach viewers across the expanding Connected TV landscape. The round was led by Highland Europe with participation from Mangrove Capital Partners and additional investors, marking a significant step forward for the Barcelona based technology and entertainment company as it scales operations and prepares for further expansion.
Founded in 2023 by entrepreneur Jacinto Roca, together with co founders Timothy Edwards, Miquel Barba, and Tobias Pfalzgraff, Titan OS was designed to solve a growing problem in the streaming era: overwhelming content choice combined with fragmented user interfaces. Roca previously founded Wuaki.tv, which was acquired by Rakuten, bringing experience in digital entertainment that shaped the company’s approach to combining content discovery, technology, and advertising within a single environment. The company said the new funding will support ongoing product improvements and enhancements in user experience for consumers, television manufacturers, content partners, and advertisers.

In just over two years, Titan OS has expanded rapidly, scaling revenue tenfold and reaching more than eighteen million active users worldwide. Its platform is currently licensed to major global TV manufacturers including Philips, Sony, Vestel, and JVC. By integrating content, distribution, and monetization capabilities into one unified system, Titan OS enables television brands and content owners to create seamless and profitable user experiences while providing advertisers with premium, measurable inventory.
The company cites consumer frustration as a major force driving change in the television ecosystem. Recent research indicates that the average viewer loses one hundred ten hours each year searching for something to watch across fragmented streaming services. Titan OS addresses this issue through a content first interface offering tailored recommendations based on viewing behavior, as well as streamlined navigation that reduces friction across home screens, electronic program guides, and remote control access.
Advertising demand across Connected TV continues to rise, with global spending expected to surpass thirty eight billion dollars by 2027. Titan OS offers homepage placements, in stream formats, and shoppable experiences aimed at helping brands reach audiences that are increasingly unreachable through traditional channels.

Timothy Edwards, COO and co founder of Titan OS, said the investment is a validation of the company’s mission and momentum. “We are honoured to have Highland Europe as our lead investor. This milestone reinforces our vision to build the leading independent Connected TV OS from Europe. Our growth over the past two years is only the beginning we plan to raise further capital next year to accelerate expansion and continue empowering our partners and users worldwide.”
Laurence Garrett, General Partner at Highland Europe, said the platform’s market position and regional leadership were decisive. “TitanOS is redefining the connected TV experience with a platform that rivals global players while maintaining a distinctly European innovation DNA. We believe their vision, technology, and team uniquely position them to become a global leader in the next wave of television.”
With the new investment, Titan OS plans to further strengthen its position in the global marketplace, expand OEM relationships, and invest in product innovation and advertising technology to improve monetization opportunities and user value. The company now employs more than two hundred people across Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Taipei as it works to advance the impact of an independent Connected TV OS built from Europe for the world.
